Lifeliqe from CREDITAS Group continues to expand in the USA

Lifeliqe, a technology company with roots in Brno, continues to grow stronger in Nevada – it has received a new grant worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. This will enable the creation of additional content for career mapping, i.e. virtual tours of workplaces for Nevada citizens who want to retrain in a new profession. The grant builds on the successful SANDI project, which specifically promotes employment in the Southwest USA through virtual retraining courses and tours.

We are working with Nevada on other challenges in the future of work and employment. Individual Career Mapping (ICM) includes virtual tours to nearly forty different occupations that are important to Nevada’s economy. Over three years, more than 3,000 Nevadans have completed the SANDI project and more than half of them have successfully completed the full retraining,” says Lifeliqe CEO Matouš Tlapák, adding that the new grant will create 16 new virtual tours for Nevada. In addition, other US states are planning to copy the career mapping project.

In addition to career mapping, Lifeliqe has been working specifically on retraining for more than three years. It has simulations of, for example, dialysis, care of patients with kidney disease. It also trains nurse assistants and nursing assistants in an interactive environment. The new virtual tours will also focus on specialised professions important for lithium mining and processing. The giant deposits of this precious metal discovered a few years ago on the border of Nevada and Oregon are a key raw material for the production of lithium-ion batteries. They power everything from smartphones to Tesla electric vehicles.

The problem with the state of Nevada is its low population and the need for residents to travel long distances. Nevada is four times the size of the Czech Republic, but has only three million inhabitants. “The advantage of our approach is that people can get an insight into different professions without having to physically visit the workplace. All you have to do is go to the modern state library, where you can borrow virtual reality glasses and take interactive tours of the workplaces,” explains Matouš Tlapák and continues: “If a person is interested in a profession, they can arrange their own retraining course, which also includes our interactive content. He or she then studies from the comfort of home or perhaps the nearest library. Lifelong learning is the future and the importance of various retraining courses will therefore grow even more,” explains Matouš Tlapák.

Lifeliqe is also active in the Czech Republic, where its Corinth 3D application is helping to teach in hundreds of primary and secondary schools. Corinth is also expanding into Slovakia, Poland and the USA.
