Banka CREDITAS donates CZK 545,000 to help children in need. The recipients of the funds were decided through a vote by the bank’s clients themselves, who decided to support the charity SOS Children’s Villages.

In April, Banka CREDITAS announced the charity event “A Good Deed for a Completed Questionnaire”. Its aim was to increase the motivation and expertise of the bank’s clients in the field of online investing. Anyone wishing to invest in funds or securities must first complete an investment questionnaire. Based on the answers, the bank will evaluate the client’s expertise, experience, goals and needs. To increase the motivation of clients, the bank made a commitment to donate CZK 500 to charity for each completed investment questionnaire.

The choice of the recipient of the collected funds was left to the clients who participated in the event. SOS Children’s Villages won the online vote. “Our clients had a choice from among several leading Czech charities and overwhelmingly decided on the non-profit organisation SOS Children’s Villages. This organisation provides long-term family care for children who cannot live with their biological families. In addition, it offers prevention programmes for families in need and assists in crisis situations. We are proud that our clients have chosen this charity, which gives children a chance for a better future,” said Eva Collardová, CEO of Banka CREDITAS.

Banka CREDITAS has had a long-standing commitment to social responsibility and regularly supports various charitable and community projects. A similar event, in which the bank paid a fixed amount for each completed questionnaire, took place last year. After the end of the campaign, the bank sent over CZK 419,000 to help disabled children supported by the Together for Children Foundation. Banka CREDITAS will continue to link its financial services to the support of charitable initiatives in the future.
